INDIANAPOLIS, IN November 3rd, 2020 — GroundBreakers LLC, a woman owned and operated leading hydrovac excavation service provider in the state of Indiana, is proud to announce national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Great Lakes Women’s Business Council (GLWBC), a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
This certification comes after Andrea Sloan purchased 51% of the company and took over managing the business. The company’s management team, including President Andrea Sloan and Operations Manager Doug Taylor, are excited about the new certification, and recognize the importance of continuing to deliver an exceptional service to customers.

WBENC’s national standard of certification implemented by the Great Lakes Women’s Business Council is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by a woman or women.
By including women-owned businesses among their suppliers, corporations and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier diversity programs.
